  • DVD: Hater:Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, A Stripper Pole, & Leo DiCaprio Form Unstoppable Nexus Of Awful
In a time long long ago, in a land far far away, Demi Moore was an actress. Now she is the person that Ashton Kutcher sometimes takes pictures of to post to his Twitter. But on occasion, when the mood strikes her and a pole, support column, or leg of scaffolding is available, Demi Moore sinks back into the fog of time until suddenly it's 1996 and she's back on the set of Striptease again. "Excuse me. Are those Bugle Boy jeans you're wearing?" she wonders aloud (as was the custom at the time) to no one ...

The studio has set its sights for its next modern update on the acme of all beloved classics: The Wizard Of Oz. The Los Angeles Times reports Warner Bros. has set off a storm on the studio lot to get either of two pre-existing Wizard Of Oz remake projects into fast-tracked development, noting that representatives for top Hollywood directors have been alerted. • Film: Newswire:RIP Corey Haim
Former teen star-turned-reality show fixture Corey Haim has died of an apparent overdose, TMZ is reporting. And, sadly, TMZ tends to be right about these things. Haim was unavoidable in the '80s and early '90s, appearing as a kid star in films like Secret Admirer then finding a breakout role a the sensitive, bullied teen in Lucas. His career continued an upward slope thanks to The Lost Boys, a stylish vampire hit that paired him for the first tim with Corey Feldman, the era's other teen idol named Corey. The two would team again in teen-targeted movies like License ...

  • Film: Interview:Jay Baruchel
Though he?s only 27, the eternally boyish Jay Baruchel has been in front of the camera for more than half his life, including a stint as co-host (with Elisha Cuthbert) on Popular Mechanics For Kids. Raised in Montreal, Quebec (where he still resides), Baruchel won a small role in his late teens as a reedy, spastic Led Zeppelin fan in Cameron Crowe?s Almost Famous, and made enough of an impression to get an audition for Judd Apatow?s short-lived but beloved 2001 Fox sitcom Undeclared. Baruchel?s work as a sweet, woefully inexperienced college freshman in Undeclared set ...

  • Film: Random Roles:Melanie Lynskey
The actor: Melanie Lynskey, a New Zealander who made an impressive debut in Peter Jackson?s Heavenly Creatures opposite Kate Winslet, and has gone on to a steady career in Hollywood as a character actress, often playing ordinary-looking women with a frayed edge. Last year was one of Lynskey?s biggest: She played significant parts in the movies Away We Go, The Informant!, and Up In The Air (all now available on DVD and Blu-ray), while continuing her recurring role on the hit sitcom Two And A Half MenUp In the Air (2009)??Julie Bingham? • Film: Newswire:Check out the new trailer for Tron: Legacy
As a fan of the original, I have to say: this looks pretty cool: (And is that a little taste of the Daft Punk score in the second half of the trailer?)

  • TV: Hater:Lindsay Lohan Is A Baby
When most of us saw the above E-Trade baby commercial, we saw the creepy sexualization of infants in order to sell some do-it-yourself Boiler Room fantasy website. When Lindsay Lohan saw the above E-Trade baby commercial she saw a mirror. This is nothing new. Lindsay Lohan sees her reflection everywhere?in the sky, in lightbulbs, on take-out menus, in the Toys R Us logo, trapped inside grilled cheese sandwiches, in portraits of Alexander Hamilton?but since this was an unauthorized reflection, Lindsay Lohan is suing E-Trade. Seriously. Hilariously. From The NY Post: Lindsay Lohan is suing the financial company E-Trade ...

  • Film: Interview:Bong Joon-Ho
Bong Joon-Ho isn?t an easy filmmaker to pin down. He?s best known in America, and in his native South Korea, for The Host, the offbeat creature feature that became South Korea?s highest-grossing movie ever. But rather than capitalizing on that success by broadening his canvas, Bong followed it up with Mother, his most intimate movie to date. Popular Korean actress Kim Hye-Ja plays a middle-aged single mother whose severely retarded son is accused of murdering a schoolgirl. With the police convinced her son is the culprit, Kim must find the real killer, guided only by her obsessive ...

We sit in front of our computers most of the day, connected to our friends and co-workers by the series of pipes, strings, and nimbostratus zackets called the Internet. We salute them with a hearty "Great job, Internet!"  As an adieu to Oscar season, here are a couple of clips for movie-lovers and movie-skeptics alike. First, a montage of every Alfred Hitchcock cameo from his own feature films: Next, from Cracked, a trailer for next ...
